The Hungarian Korfball Association (HKA) has confirmed that it will participate in the IKF World Korfball Championship, due to be held in October and November 2015, despite the fact that some of their stronger players have withdrawn from the team due to a conflict.
This confirmation follows news in the media earlier this week that the Hungarian Korfball Association would have withdrawn from participation in the upcoming IKF World Korfball Championship. These reports turned out to be premature.
Several European countries had contacted the IKF based on the news in the media, indicating their willingness to replace Hungary should the Hungarians not take part. The IKF is very grateful to the flexibility shown by those countries and their commitment in taking part.
