I know this topic has been raised before but is just a quick word on kit: Bristol Uni has just bought it's kit from footballwear.net (i believe the same company as Highbury did) and wish to express how useful they were. We made a 40 person squad kit with personalisations for each top and coat and very particular requirements - including girl's fit tops and "air holes" to stop sweating so badly!!. They arrived today from Poland are excellent quality and value for money. My girlfriend dealt with the order to Poland and the guy in charge was polite and very helpful and sent photos and regular updates about the order. Additionally he even sent a "Merry Christmas" email to her and myself. I know that kit can be a nightmare to get to certain requirements but they were superb. Craig

Great - I'm glad they were as good with you as they were with us. I still can't recommend them enough.Their customisation service is superb - they spent a long time making sure that everything was just right, and made good recommendations when certain details weren't going to work out right (e.g. text was too small to be correctly printed). The Christmas greeting was a nice touch too! ----------------------- Korfball, north of the river! http://www.highburykorfball.co.uk |

Update: We just bought a second batch of shirts (since we've had a lot of new players join us) from the same supplier. In our first batch, one of the only complaints I had was that the collars were all slightly too small. They clearly listen to feedback - the collars on this batch are bigger and are just right. Very impressed. ----------------------- Korfball, north of the river! http://www.highburykorfball.co.uk |

did a little search and came up with this....So who are people using for kit these days? found these http://www.owayo.com/en/screen_frameset_football.htm and it looks good at first glance but £30 a shirt. I've only had a little look but the stumbling point so far seems our kit needs to have purple on it. Anyone got any good links with supliers? thanks _________________________ top 2 poster! MK Bucks use Rad Sheep (www.radsheep.co.uk) who are really good because you can get a LOT of personalisation on the kit - we incoporated a logo and numbers on the front and back and the designs are embedded into the fabric so you don't get the numbers coming off after a couple of years. Ours cost just under £23 including VAT and our kit is purple as well! (I think a Manchester korfer works for them)MK City have bought 2 sets of kit (home and away) from MCP Sports (www.mcpsports.co.uk) - it's Kokott kit which is the same manfacturer that the footballwear.net stuff comes from. I think they were £20 per shirt, no idea if they do purple though because Darren did the orders. --------------------------------------------------- Korfball among the concrete cows www.mkkorfball.co.uk and www.mkcity.org.uk ... |

Highbury's new batch of Kokott kits are being made with a different material, which is supposedly a lot more breathable. It comes at a premium of about £1.50 per shirt though. The kits are arriving next week, I'll be able to tell you soon if it's worth it! ----------------------- Korfball, north of the river! http://www.highburykorfball.co.uk |
